What you need: 1 A pair of thin cotton socks 2 A pair of thick wool socks (at least 80%) 3 Access to cold water How to do it: 1 Soak cotton socks in cold water and wring out excess water so that it is no longer dripping. 2 Put on wet cotton socks 3 Put on dry wool socks on top 4 Go to bed, making sure you stay warm with covers overnight. When you wake up in the morning, your feet will be warm and socks will be dry. The idea of putting cold socks on your feet may sound like a bad idea, but trust me, it’s not as bad as it sounds! You don’t have to choose between conventional medicine and naturopathic medicine. Many ND’s will work with your MD to create an integrated plan that supports your whole health picture to achieve better results. We may have different approaches but open communication is key to proper patient care. You should never feel like you have to hide anything from anyone on your healthcare team.
