One of our co-founders, Frances Schuchard recieved the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015, for her contribution to the Arts in St Albert. Here is the video that was presented at the awards. We were feeling nostalgic and thought we would share it with our VCPA friends that dont know our history. Spoiler alert: there is a clip of her grandson, NHL Hall of Fame inductee, Jarome Iginla singing at the Rotary Music Festival on the Arden stage! He says how much music helped him in his Hockey career. The video was produced by the City of St Albert.

Meet Lilia! She has been a valued vocal instructor at Visionary since 2000. She is teaching students in-person in St. Albert and online. You will notice the plexiglass screen on top of her piano, she also wears a mask when she is teaching to keep her students safe. Lilia has a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from University of Moldova. She was a principal vocalist with Moldova Opera House which toured Canada and she eventually moved to Edmonton, which we are so happy a...bout!
