Some fall deck building. Wish the sun would accompany today ! Finish pics soon
In these pics I completed two custom tiled showers. One bathtub/ shower and one full shower with tiled floor pan and curb. Sorry no finished fixtures or trim on these. One of these homes was roughly 80 years old and the other over 100 years old. Its great to bring a little life and spirit back into in old character home. This was for a friend Peter Wild who is starting up his own business. I look forward to collaborating in future projects with Pete. Be sure to support him and continue the great work Pete.
Had some fun building this fence in a Albert park and help unloading material from the best crew I guy could ask for! This fence was built with 6x6 rough cut pressure treated posts and stained black on 6 ft. Centres with 5/4-in. Cedar decking running horizontally. I dadoed the vertical pressure treated 2x4s to receive the 5/4-in. Cedar and capped bottom and top with a pressure treated 2x4. Nice streamline look and built beefy to last!!
Here is a basement finish in Kensington Greens. I had the privilege of working for a great family who provided a peaceful and patient environment. I had a blast working and fine tuning all the details with you both. Custom tiled shower with quartz countertop that matched the shower corner shelves, with black fixtures. We allowed a natural transition from main level through the basement and mixed in a little knotty pine rustic charm. A 40 inch custom pine door entering the p...lay room and a full custom pine bar with custom cut mirrors, floating shelves, accent lighting and double swing saloon style doors. We added a barn wood dart board wall in the bar area. There is a seven channel surround sound and big 50 inch linear style fireplace trimmed in stone and a pine mantle with matching pine media cabinets. Thanks again Dave and Desiree for the experience! Going to miss Brielles big smiles to greet me in the morning !! See more

In this particular project I had an opportunity too revisit a previous Reno I completed a few years back. The new owners contacted me expressing they wanted too make changes too both the en-suite and main bathroom where the previous owners decided not too touch. Staying consistent with the original oak cabinets through the rest of the house they decided too keep them in the bathrooms. Swapped out the old jacuzzi tub in the en-suite for a custom tiled Weidi shower with the lin...ear drain and cut out the old tub surround in the main bathroom for a soaker adding vessel sinks, quartz tops, tiled floors and black fixtures. I converted the drawer fronts into functional drawers in the vanities. Thanks you Lauriane and Clint for being such peaceful humans and making my job such a positive calm place too be!! the kind of clients you hope too work for each and every day.. here are a few before and after pics. Another weidi shower install in an en-suite bathroom remodel ! finished pics coming soon!
Thanks too uncle Rico and Aunty Krystal I indulged in a glorious fence building expedition!!All 250 lineal ft of it and about 7 loads of tree branches, roots and miscellaneous lol! Might take a break from fence building for awhile ! Gorgeous weather though. May all your landscaping dreams come true Rico and Krystal! A special thanks too my dad for his continuous and relentless effort in this and all projects!
Next project at my place !!
Fence building in the early summer sun !! One mustnt complain..
This is a project I completed awhile back in Albert Park. We removed a few walls adding a support beam opening up the space. The kitchen offers plenty of functional workspace accenting bright white quartz countertops and glass subway tile. Engineered hardwood floors through the main level with a mud room, barn door and gas fireplace with reclaimed fir wood mantle. Custom handrails and tiling through the bathrooms. Will add some before pics if I can find them !!
REAL LIFE WIZARDRY!! How did they do it??? (Mindblown) @lucaggallone @theneilhenry @doctorsango #lol #magic #wow

Here are a few pics left out of the slide show for the partial Reno in Albert park including the small half bath Reno.
In this Albert Park partial Reno the client wanted too clean up and add their own personal touch. With a timeless feel remaining consistent and a natural transition through the space complimenting the existing renovations. Here are some before and after pics! Painting and stair runners still too be completed.
Hey didnt mean too make this empty slide show lol!! Damn technology!
This is a University park Reno I completed awhile back. The client kept their existing hardwood throughout. There were roughly 18 pot lights added throughout therefore the ceiling needed too be scraped, mudded, sanded and re textured. A white IKEA kitchen and quartz tops kept the space nice and bright with champagne bronze hardware. Laundry room moved from main level downstairs where you will now find locker area cabinets off the garage door. Custom oak wall caps, cabinet top...s, floating shelves and hand railings were a feature and a small half bathroom Reno. With small bathrooms its nice too add some visual interest in these areas. You can have some fun with colours, textures ect and not have it feel too overwhelming being in such a small space! One of three cats Taco felt inclined too make an appearance and warmed up too the camera!! A few Albert park Renos soon too come.. See more
Heres another project in Albert park Iam starting. I removed the existing finish on this fireplace and we are going with a vintage washed out brick for an old world charm appeal. I will add a reclaimed wood mantle too finish it off. Previous project pics still too come!
They keep coming up with new mosaic tile designs and I keep volunteering too put them on a wall !! Here a quick pic of a 2 storey Albert park Reno Iam doing. Ensuite and main bathroom showers and floors are almost complete. Moving o to interior hand railing and fireplace stone/mantle and some main level floor tiling. Completion pics on this project and another Reno thats completed soon
Here is a bathroom Reno done in an Albert Park basement I completed a little while back. When this bathroom was remodelled the previous owners spared little expense and was a pretty swanky bathroom in its time. I shared a few before and after pics for this one. The bathroom had a corner whirlpool tub, custom tiled shower with steamer, heated floors and for some reason a bidet ! However over time moisture was becoming an issue and the steam generator control was no longer wor...king along with some other issues! Once I demoed the shower area we noticed the steam generator which was positioned directly under the bench seat in the shower wasnt grounded! Meanwhile the bench was and had been leaking! Has anyone seen the Spider-Man movie where Jamie Fox plays Electro? Nobody wants too be that guy!! This bathroom received a 3x6 soaker tub and a custom weidi tiled shower and glass with steamer, lvl plank flooring and we were able too salvage the heated flooring. Another cool feature I thought is that the tub fill is in the overflow of the tub. If space is tight in around the tub deck its a good option. See more
Here is a deck I recently completed in Windsor park area. I have had the good fortune of working with some great clients and Gale was no exception. Thanks for your patience as I was doing this in my spare time. Your a gem! when I started the demo it was clear too see just how rotten the joists, beam and supporting members were. I peeled off the header with a bar attached too the house too find it was fastened with nothing more than 3 inch spikes that may or may not have hit solid framework. That paired with a rotting beam when I tipped over it literally split into pieces! No dance parties happening on this deck In a composite/ pvc world there is still something and a little charm about an all wood deck!! Hope you enjoy your deck for years too come!
Here is a basement Reno in Walsh Acres. Pre finish, we re-floated all walls. Re configured bathroom layout and had too replace a sagging drain line and a fair share of self levelling. Sometimes the ground work can feel arduous but always necessary in a proper finish. We added a wet bar, gas fireplace and Weidi custom tiled shower. Thanks Uncle Rico for helping through the project! Also Rocky on the plumbing end and JLB with electrical. Last but not least thanks Angie and Mike for being so easy to work for!!

Heres another deck in the greens on Gardiner. This one was built with three beams supported by 10 piles. Hand mixed 80 bags of concrete. Access into the new developed areas is tight sometimes. Power boxes in between garages and air conditioners back to back in between houses. Deck wraps around existing deck. Picture framed it and wrapped the stairs around existing deck with deck lighting.
Visionary home builders teams up with rugged builders on this monster deck! Ricco refers to this deck as being ship likeall we are missing on it is the pirate flag and helm or wheel to steer this baby!! Good job uncle Ricardo!!

This Wascana View homes family room received a face lift. The Golden oak cabinetry in this room felt heavy and busy. With the bonus of the rooms already large picture window we revamped the fireplace with some custom tiling and added solid grey oak hardwood and floor to ceiling mirrors allowing all the natural light to reflect through and open this room up to breath again! Here are some before and after pics..
Heres a small bathroom reno in Evans Court. A few before and after pics of new cabinets and quartz top with a new tiled tub face.

We finished another basement, this time in Greens on Gardiner. This basement development included a 15 foot feature wall with solid maple hardwood mantle with built-in shelf and quartz stack stone wrapping around through the wet bar. The wet bar features a beer tap (yes, a real working beer tap!), glass rinser and bar sink. Other features include a custom tiled shower in the bathroom with a niche and glass shower enclosure with chrome trim. We finished it with two bedrooms, one of which double as a gym with gym flooring. Ready to see what we can do for your basement?
