Vision Sense 18.11.2020

A message from our office manager, Carrie: Hello! I just wanted to share some of the benefits I have experienced during my time at Vision Sense. I started working at Vision Sense in May 2019. After chatting with Dr. Dobson, we discovered I was still experiencing symptoms from previous concussions. ... You’re probably asking yourself, ‘How could she not know she still had symptoms?’ But it’s true! I saw many doctors and was put on medication for everything from anxiety to pain management, and even ADHD. Shortly after starting here, Dr. Dobson did an assessment on me. We often share patient testimonials on here - so I decided to share my own. The images I’m sharing are from one of the screening tools we use called RightEye. It is an eye-tracking system designed to record and analyze eye movements. In each of these photos, the top image is from July 2019 and the bottom image is from July 2020. The amazing part is how differently I feel with a combination of therapeutic eyeglasses and vision therapy: Less headaches, better concentration and short term memory. I can read for leisure again - something I thought I would never get back! It has completely changed my quality of life. When you call or email Vision Sense, I am the first person you speak to. I can hear the emotion in your words when you’re hesitant to try yet another treatment. I know firsthand how exhausting it is to have an invisible illness. Please reach out and chat if you have any questions or just need someone to check in with.
