You haven't lived till you felt the chop of your axe sinking into one of the glow targets at the Woodshed Axe Throwing! The Woodshed shares the story of the Loiselle family who first settled Sylvan Lake in the early 1900s. Coming to the area for the lake and abundance of trees, Alex Loiselle used lumber from their sawmill and built a homestead for his family. Ten years later, he would build the first hotel in Sylvan Lake kicking off the tourism industry.
