The Fall season is the season to slow down, to look inward and to prep our body and our mind for the rest of the year. It is the time to recharge our energy so our metabolism, especially our immune system, can work optimally. And the best way we can achieve that is by getting our bodies in tune with Mother Nature (I have an IGTV that talks all about that more in depth), and one of the steps to achieve that is by practicing self-care.... So here’s a list with my favourite fall self-care activities: Make a healthy meal using pumpkin. I made some high protein pumpkin spice pancakes and I’ll share the recipe with you later, so keep an eye for it! Drink a super frothy golden milk: this is my all time favourite fall drink because it not only helps me keep my metabolism balanced but it also strengthens the immune system. Write down what you want to let go of: this is extremely important, this is how you detoxify your mind to eliminate any negative thought that may be disrupting your mind & body connection. Cooking with spices will help you warm your body while providing anti inflammatory benefits. Nature walk: not only helps you ground and recharge your energy, but it also helps you clear your mind and lower cortisol levels (which prevent fat burning and may cause hormonal imbalance). Snuggle in bed with cozy socks and pjs: who doesn’t love it? Especially on a rainy day Slow down and live in the moment: we all need this reminder once in a while Reading a book that inspires you & spending QUALITY time with your loved ones is the best medicine for your mind, body and your soul. And the fall season wouldn’t be complete without watching a Seasonal movie! I highly recommend Falling inn Love from Netflix. Comment below your fave fall activity .

Vitamins and minerals are substances that your body requires for proper growth and functioning. Some facilitate essential chemical reactions, while others serve as building blocks for the body. Ok so true story: I know for a fact that we all enter into panic mode when our battery is about to give up [been there many times] and our first natural reaction is to ask if someone has a charger, am I right? ... Because we don't want our phone to turn off! So my question here is... Why do we let it happen to ourselves? Having low energy all the time, feeling sluggish and unmotivated is not the way we are supposed to feel. Our body is designed to feel GOOD! So if you are feeling run down, take some time for yourself to relax and to REST. The season is changing once more and it is extremely important to be well rested and nourished in order for our immune system to work 100%! ? You probably didn’t know but all my life I have struggled with migraines. Yes, the type of migraine where you literally cannot function... you can’t stand the light, the noise, the smells, you get nausea and the only thing you have left is to pop pills and sleep until the pain goes away! And through the years I have identified my triggers: ... :: so I learnt how to manage it : :After a long trial an error I figured my 3 main villains... sugar milk Sliced meats : / : Unfortunately I cannot do anything to control the pressure in the atmosphere, and as hocus pocus as this sounds it truly affects me. However I have noticed its effect is less when I’m have my food and stress under control! Now you’re probably wondering why am I bringing this up now?? Because lately I kinda got too confident because my metabolism was working really the INTENSE migraines were a story from the past But the thing is that I let it snowball into the Monday effect [yes it happens to me too], so this past Friday I had another episode, this has been probably the 4th episode in the past 3 months, and that’s A LOT! I let it get out of my hands. So I took this as my wakeup call to give my body the RESET and the attention it needs in order to function properly!
