Dr. Imogene Lim received kudos for providing many meaningful resources at this time related to the Black Lives Matter movement, the Scholar Strike, and anti-racism education. The time spent and the thoughtfulness provided in curating these resources for our community is welcomed. Dr. Lim’s leadership and advocacy in this area is not only necessary but appreciated. VALEDICTORIAN 2020 - Megan Rutledge Megan found her love for Anthropology after travelling 23 countries on her own when she was just 17. People are her passion and she has since decided to dedicate her life to understanding and appreciating the diversity of our world. Having been described as a human ‘golden retriever’, Megan’s favorite part about VIU was the friends and connections she was able to make. She will carry these with her for the rest of her life.
