Open to singers across Cape Breton who would like to come to sing for me to receive some vocal tips, stage deportment, and interpretation ideas in a public forum. I will be joined by Michele Stephens, Cape Breton’s fabulous singer, songwriter and versatile pianist and accompanist. REQUIREMENTS: Pick a song that you love, and can sing from memory, making sure to bring a copy for our accompanist and me. Spaces are limited to 9 singers for this event, so I ask you to register no later than Sept. 1, by sending me a message at Viva Voce Voice Studio. Auditors are welcome, but pre-registration is also required. Styles: Classical, Broadway, Jazz Standards, Folk, and original compositions. If you would like to sing an original composition, you will need to provide me with a lead sheet, including chord symbols.
