Happy Halloween everyone :). A tip for pumpkin whitening: Position pumpkin far, far away from dental upholstery...#Lessonslearned. Whitening for humans: https://vivantdental.ca/services/teeth-whitening/
This pumpkin is getting ready to smile brightly for the most important day of its year.
First day of autumn, and it's beautiful!

A recent appointment inspired us to write this latest blog post on using a clear retainer to temporarily replace teeth.
Thank you, new patients, for trusting us with your dental care!

Taking care of baby teeth is an important first step towards establishing healthy permanent teeth. When should one start taking care of baby teeth? Find out in our blog post!
Wishing all dads a wonderful Father's Day!
We caught some glimpses of sun today, and it looks like there will be more of that tomorrow afternoon. Happy first day of summer!
Our new PPE came! Different look, same friendly dentists.
What a difference a year makes! This photo of the reception area was taken during construction exactly one year ago. #ThrowbackThursday
Great news! We received practice guidelines from BC's dental regulatory body, and are looking forward to re-opening our doors tomorrow, May 25. We'll be reaching out to our patients of record over the next few days. For a preview of what to expect, visit vivantdental.ca/newnormal. Stay tuned for more enhanced safety measures!
A glimpse of the new normal. A big thank you to Twiisted Media who provided wonderful customer service for our new protective plexiglass shield. This is just one measure we're taking to protect our staff and patients. More to come shortly!
Happy Victoria Day! Enjoy the rest of your long weekend :)

...and the number of masks we made was 119!!! CONGRATS to Sherry for the closest guess. You won a $25 gift card to Shoppers Drug Mart! We're happy to have donated these masks to Atira Women's Resource Society (Surrey) and to various businesses that are open to keep our community going. Thank you to all frontline workers!
Last day to guess the number of masks in our previous post! The answer will be posted tomorrow.Last day to guess the number of masks in our previous post! The answer will be posted tomorrow.
Yay, we're done! Can you guess how many fabric masks we made? Leave your guesses in the comments. The closest guess will win a prize! Winners will be announced May 4.
Here is a step-by-step video that we created to show you how to make fabric masks with a filter pocket! Please note that this video is best viewed under the "HD" setting: Simply click the settings icon at the lower right of the video and ensure that "HD" is checked off. Enjoy! Fabric masks are not the same as surgical masks or N-95 masks, and are not a substitution for social distancing and hand washing. Please stay tuned as we will be posting some instructions on how to we...ar fabric masks. For written instructions, visit https://vivantdental.ca/blog/fabric-mask-project/ 2020 Vivant Dental
Hi again! We'd love to tell you about an exciting project that Vivant Dental has been involved in. Canada's chief public health officer recently announced that wearing a non-medical mask in public settings can be an additional measure for reducing coronavirus transmission. Over the next few days, we will share the journey of how we created over 100 beautiful fabric masks from scratch for donation to our valued members of the community. We started with some washing, cutting, folding and ironing. Keep following our Facebook because we have some announcements and giveaways relating to this project!
Happy Earth Day!
How are you all doing? Since social distancing measures started a few weeks ago, neither of us have been out more than a handful of times. One trip was to COBS Bread at Panorama Marketplace (on the NW side of 152 St. and Hwy 10). This bakery is one of our neighbours who are braving the storm to provide an important service. Wed like to acknowledge their hard work and delicious products :). Stay safe!
The shortage of personal protective equipment for health care workers is worrisome. We're donating gloves, masks and medical disinfectant wipes. Our warmest regards to all who serve on the front lines. -Anthony and Vivian
Just wanted to give a shout-out to CEFA Early Learning at Surrey Panorama! During this challenging time, if a local business is able to continue serving the community, we think that deserves some recognition. CEFA is doing this through their Essential Service Worker Program. (Check out CEFA's website at www.cefa.ca, or email them at [email protected] for more information.) Were so glad to have met the CEFA family earlier this year. Despite the pandemic disrupting everyones life, were grateful you are still helping others through these tough times. Stay safe! -Vivian & Anthony
Hi! We miss everyone and hope you're safe at home! Today marks the start of oral health month. So, while big changes are sweeping the world, let's all try to take some small steps towards healthy habits! The Canadian Dental Association's theme for this year is to reduce sugary drinks. We think this is something we can all accomplish!
Hi all, Let's share some ideas on how to stay occupied! These are some interesting websites that Drs.
