Investing in your education and building your skills is the KEY to your optimum success! Last year, I took the initiative and invested in my photography business by booking myself a Mentorship Session with Kalina Denault, Manitoba Wedding Photographer. I met her at The Joyful Project photoshoot back in 2018. Since then..., I have been following her journey and I knew that if I wanted to pursue photography it’s her brain that I wanted to pick. After a number of scheduling conflicts and a global pandemic putting us in a halt last week we finally had the time to get together. And let me tell you BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. I asked questions and she went above and beyond!! I left that mentorship session with clarity and direction on where I want to take my business, confidence in myself, AND ways to better serve my clients moving forward. 3 key points that I took from the mentorship that I believe will help you too: It’s never too late to start pursuing a career that you love. Show your face/personality/personal life more on your socials to create more personal engagement with my clients and audience. Social Media is basically free marketing! Use it to your advantage. Do not compare your 'early beginnings' to anyone else’s successes AND the right client that aligns with your brand will come to you.
