Effective December 13, 2020, at 12:01 am, Vivo will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED as per the latest mandated orders by the Alberta Government to help prevent the spread of COVID 19. Impacts for Members, Program Participants and Sport/User Groups: All Vivo memberships will be put on ‘hold’ and re-activated when our operations resume. All registered programs, services and facility bookings will be cancelled and a credit will be applied to a member’s, program participant’s or fa...cility rental group’s account for future use. Note- We will update participants early in the new year if there is a change to the start date of the January program session. Onsite Partners (Calgary Public Library, NHCA and Jugo Juice) services will be temporarily closed. Exception: Panther Sports Medicine services will remain open as an essential service during this time Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm. What will be OPEN: Live and Pre-recorded fitness classes online at Virtual Vivo you can access anytime. We continue to support your health and happiness throughout the pandemic and will continue to do so during this closure. Your credit on account is secured for future use towards your membership, program or booking when we re-open or you can choose to donate your credits one-time or become a monthly donor at Vivo. Thank You Stories! What I love most about working at Vivo, is the growth I have been able to witness being part of the Vivo team. I have seen kids grow in skills when I taught basketball, grow in comfort as I do silly dances in DancePl3y and they break out of their comfort zone to join me. I have seen kids grow in their play literacy being part of the Vivo Play Project and also I have simply seen kids grow up in Play Lab. I started working here when I was only 17, 5 years later I have been able to grow up myself. I am so grateful for the entire Vivo team to help me foster the growth in the community, but also be there to witness me grow up. ~Raquel

Based on the Mandatory Public Health Measures announced by the Alberta Government this evening: Vivo will PAUSE: All indoor social gathering in the form of community bookings unless the booking is for members in the same household All levels of sport unless by exemption by the AB Chief Medical Officer of Health.... All Play Hub Events both @Vivo and in the Community. Play Scientist Pilot Program onboarding will continue through an appointment booking process. What’s staying the same: Since re-opening the facility on September 1, 2020, Vivo has already been operating at the 25% occupancy limitations outlined today.
