Happy Tuesday, Fam! Today we celebrate folks in and from care who were able to pursue post-secondary education, everywhere from completing a GED, to university, to college, to trades. Some of us could go right after high school. Some of us had to wait a few years until life became more stable. Awareness is growing of the support young people in care need in order to get through those early stages of school, which sets the stage for us to work towards post-secondary lear...ning. Join in on zoom from 5-6:30pm. Email [email protected] for the link, which will be sent out this afternoon.
