Have to prepare for the schools reopening. Have to prepare to get to work. Have to prepare something to eat. Have to prepare... ... Go. Go. Go. Hustle. Do. Repeat. So focused on that is to do next. That we skip past what is happening now. Everything becomes a blur. What if you took a moment to step out of that space? If you took 8 minutes to connect with another who did exactly the same. What would you talk about? If you are curious to find out, then join me in just over an hour at 7:00pm PST by using this link: www.voicestory.ca/8minutes/ I look forward to speaking with you then! - Winston | Story Architect #voicestory #lovesharegrow #storytelling #storyteller #tellyourstory #shareyourstory #yourvoice #speakers #vancitybuzz #vancitynow #burnaby #coquitlam #newwestminster #inspiration #motivation #authenticity #vulnerability #courage #love #selflove #brave #connection #community #nevergiveup #mentalhealth #entrepreneur See more

As some members of our community head back to school and others restarting after Summer holidays, we invite you to practice the art of conversation at our "8 minutes with a stranger" social events. Having a conversation with someone is not only about speaking! It is more important to be able to hold space and listen, to allow the other person to be truly heard.... I invite you to join us tonight to create connection and conversation! The event starts at 7:00pm PST and you can click in this link to join us: http://www.voicestory.ca/8minutes/ #voicestory #lovesharegrow #storytelling #storyteller #tellyourstory #shareyourstory #yourvoice #speakers #vancitybuzz #vancitynow #burnaby #coquitlam #newwestminster #inspiration #motivation #authenticity #vulnerability #courage #love #selflove #brave #connection #community #nevergiveup #mentalhealth #entrepreneur

VoiceStory | End of Summer to Fall update! The VoiceStory team took some time off, slow down a bit and enjoy some the sunshine we have been blessed with. Now we are getting ready to get things going again! COVID put us on pause in the middle of March and I wanted to give you an update as to what we have been up to.... The VoiceStory team spent a couple of months researching and testing various video streaming platforms, created best practice guidelines and all the while having the best experience for the speaker and audience in mind. However, I made the decision to not put VoiceStory Live online. Why? I asked myself and my team some hard questions, and there are elements and experiences that only happen during a live event. These were things that I was unwilling to compromise on. So we waited. Now that some COVID restrictions have been lifted, the we are investigating options to relaunch VoiceStory Live while abiding to sanctioned guidelines and safety protocols. We will keep you updated as to our progress! Social Events: We will be restarting our social events and to keeping in mind that school and other events will be starting soon, we have decided on the following dates: "8 minutes with a stranger" will be held at 7:00pm PST on Thursday September 10 and Tuesday September 22. You can join us at all of these dates by using this link: http://www.voicestory.ca/8minutes/ Sunday Brunch will be held at 11:00am PST on September 27. You can join us for Sunday Brunch by using this link: http://www.voicestory.ca/sundaybrunch/ Project Connection: On a personal note, COVID is impacting me in ways I did not expect and I found myself becoming socially isolated. I know very well what can happen when one stuck in this space for too long, so in order to break this cycle of social isolation I launched a connection project and I am asking for your help to reach my goal. I am going to give in order to get! I am gifting 100 hours of my time to 100 people. 1 hour to each person in order to have a conversation and connect. We might share some really bad jokes, recipes or a restaurant review, if you would like some coaching, training, story work, help with public speaking or your homework... or maybe we just go off on tangents and I just listen to you. Whatever happens, we just let the conversation unfold naturally! There is no catch, no hidden agenda, no pitch or sale that happens at the end of the call. Is this something that is resonating with you? Then I invite you to schedule a time with me now: http://www.voicestory.ca/100hours/ If you know of someone who you feel should connect with me, please forward this information to them! I thank you in advance for your help and if you have any questions, comments or feedback please let me know! Winston | Story Architect
