As a charitable organization, the VON relies on donations to fund many of its programs. Special thanks to RIVERVIEW CHARITABLE GAMING for their on-going support. Funds raised from RIVERVIEW GAMING CENTRE have been distributed to charities in the community, including the VON Chatham-Kent. We've been able to use those funds to support the HomeMaker Program, one of the programs designed to contribute to the health and improved quality of life of Canadians in their own homes, where they want to be. #ckstrong #ckcharities

THANK YOU SARNIA-LAMBTON UNITED WAY! In June 2020, VON received $11,400.00 from United Way Sarnia-Lambton for the purchase of tablets and activity bag contents which allowed VON to continue to provide essential services to the clients in our ADP, Volunteer Visiting and SMART programs virtually. Thanks to this funding, Mary (pictured below), and her Caregiver Kent are able to remain connected to their friends and community during this difficult time of social restriction and isolation. VON Sarnia-Lambton is very grateful to United Way and their donors for their support which allows us to continue to serve those in need of quality health care throughout Sarnia-Lambton. In addition to the COVID 19 funding received in June, United Way also supports our Volunteer Visiting, Charitable Footcare and Charitable Nursing programs.
