I feel the need to clarify that I've not put together any lists regarding whom to vote for. I very much appreciate everyone who has posted in my support. I've also been advised that someone is calling people (call center) suggesting a list with my name on it as well. I have no idea who that might be. Other candidates also have people circulating lists with their names on it, with our without their knowledge. It is common for people who are engaged and passionate about candid...ates to promote them with their own lists. I am honoured to be on those lists, and appreciate the confidence, but it in no way indicates that I am aware of, or affiliated with, those other candidates. I am running as an independent, and am not affiliated to any of the others on anyone's list. I do have my own preferences, based on set criteria, such as consistency of their message now and before the election, their knowledge of bylaws and the events of years gone by, the skill set they bring to the table, and their ability to prepare for meetings and understand the issues at hand. As your Mayor, I am ready to work with anyone the voters see fit to elect. We need to get people out to vote. I encourage you to do your own due diligence, do your own research, comparing past and present statements, actions, and voting records. You will see my message has been consistent since 2014.
