Scouts Canada 06.12.2020

This past weekend, and through out the month of May, we in Voyageur Council are planting Scoutrees. Not only are we planting trees that make the air cleaner and our forests stronger, our youth are learning about the critical need for conservation, the huge impact of climate change, and how we can do our part to create a better world. Scoutrees began in 1972, and since then Scouts across Canada have planted over 80 million trees! Thank you to Otto's BMW for supporting Scoutrees across Ottawa. Look for new saplings in Saint Louis Woods, Earl Armstrong North Woods, Kimmins & Neilson Park, and many more communities thanks to Otto's BMW.

Spring registration is nearly here! Scouting makes a difference in the lives of children, youth and young adults. Providing youth-led opportunities, members determine what areas they would like to grow in as they achieve new heights and develop into global citizens. With a versatile array of program areas to focus on, Scouting welcomes youth with diverse interests and goals. See what Scouts Canada has to offer by registering this spring.
