Happy Fri-Yay! The physio fun fact for today is did you know that Dustin our Physiotherapist does custom Orthotics? If your are recommended to get orthotics, Dustin can assess how you walk, treat your feet, and then make a custom impression of your feet. After the custom impression is done they are sent off to a lab in Vancouver and a few weeks later you are presented with your brand new custom othotics!

Brand new plexiglass barriers in the new space, thanks to Westcana Electric Inc. For custom making these for us to help keep our staff and patients safe!

Attention! Something has finally happened in the clinic after months of planning... We have offically moved into our new space! We are still on the ground floor of the Victoria Medical Building but our new entrance is located inside the main entrance of the building, suite 106. ... We thank you for your patience as we settle in to our new space

Introducing meet the staff mondays! We will be introducing the staff every monday to get to know us better. Starting off with the man, the myth, the legend himself, Dustin Robin! M.C.P.A Physiotherapist, Certified Hand Therapist. Dustin went to the University of Manchester for his physiotherapist education and has owned Victoria Sports Physiotherapy since 2006.

Meet the staff Mondays! This Monday we are introducing Mariane! Mariane works as front desk staff and can assist you in booking appointments as well as billing and payment services. Mariane recently completed her Diploma of Business Management Mariane has been working at the clinic since September 2020.

Initial assessment and treatment - $80.00 Subsequent treatment - $70.00 MSP user fee - $25.00 This increase allows Victoria Sports Physiotherapy to align its fee structure closely to the recommended national and provincial cost for physiotherapy services as well as bringing Victoria Sports Physiotherapy in line with other therapy providers in Prince George and the northern region. For your reference, the provincial average cost is $80-$125 and the northern region average cost is $80-$105.

mini update Many people have been in contact asking if we are open yet. Short answer: As of today, we are currently open via telehealth only ... Long answer: We have been working very hard to have all the protective equipment that we need to be safe for all of our staff and of course our patients. This week we are just wrapping up lose ends to get the clinic to the right level of readiness. Our telehealth is still up and running and we will be still available even when the clinic door are open Exciting news will be announced near the end of the week Keep youre eyes open for our announcement

Weekly Update Yesterday marks 7 weeks of us being closed and 4 weeks of telehealth What a strange time this has been in our lives. ... You may have heard that Premier John Horgan has given clearance for phase 2 starting mid May and Im sure you have been anxiously waiting for this news just like us We have received a handful of phone calls asking if we are now open and we wanted to make sure that you were all updated. Dustin is waiting to hear from the College of Physical Therapists of BC to obtain guidelines so we can open up safely. Our opening date will be posted as soon as we have the go ahead Know that telehealth is still up and running and we are still available to answer the phones. Please stay safe and remember we are still in this together.

Went down to the RMCA to welcome the boys back with my kids and to welcome the new member to the spruce kings family, mr Fred page cup, , video little off I apologise but was very cool to be there, but in the words daughter, dad this is one of the coolest things ever, and on the drive home my son says, I want to be spruce king one day and lift and carry a trophy Inspirational team and organization Thank you spruce kings and a pleasure to work with you guys through the season and try and keep you goes meeting your physical expectations so you can meet your team and individual dreams
