Today is recognized as Human Trafficking Awareness Day is the US. We take this day every year to honour the victims of this awful crime, and to remind everyone that this is a global issue. This year, many of us are away from our loved ones over the holiday, but every year our Crisis Team works through the holidays, 24/7 to ensure every victim has a place to turn to. Today, we celebrate them, their compassion, and their non-stop fortitude in unprecedented times. Thank you!

This week helps raise visibility for the community and helps educate others on the barriers and issues that Transgender individuals face on a day to day basis. We encourage you to seek out learning opportunities and to listen to the firsthand knowledge of those in the community.
