Time for a tidy and reorganization of the shop corner in the studio. And hopefully with Covid prodocals in place, you can come in with an appointment to shop and visit.

I've had so fun and freedom collaging these ATC's and trading them over on Dragonfly Dreamers monthly Explorations group.

A couple of more collaged art cards finished.

I have a hard time letting go of old calendar journals. I recently discovered that they can make great art journals. To cover up the pages in this one I used my gel plate, so it is full on gel prints for doodling on. All the designs on this one are from the print. I just doodles over and around them. Fun mindless play.

Often when I watch tv in the evenings I like to doodle or draw. Lately I've been practicing drawing faces. I think they are slowly getting better. I don't really like doing hair so some of them get odd 'hair' like this one. The Tinman gives them very strange looks!

I have been enjoying playing with these small collaged cards. They are often started when I'm doing a larger project and have small pieces of paper lying around that you might think should go in the garbage. They get adhered to a heavy paper and set aside to watch and see how they would like to be finished. These ones got a little paint and a die cut coloured with embossing powder.

The inks are out to play. What's your favourite things to do with Distress ink and Distress Oxide inks?

This month's theme on the Exploration group page is Wings. This little fairie made me so happy when she came to help me finish this journal page.

I had such a great time doing this on line workshop with Laly Mille through her Artist Soul Retreat. I'm not sure if they are finished yet but so far I'm happy with them. What do you think? Do they need anything more?

What do you do with all the things you make that don't really make you happy? I discovered some pours while cleaning last week that I didn't know what to do with. I admit some of them got the boot but some of them were interesting but still needed something. The ones that I liked and were on wood canvas I decided to put on the shelf and come back to another time to see what I can do with them. A few were on regular canvas so I decided to cut them off the stretcher bars and use them for something else. I thought I'd just put them in my collage pile but after looking at them a second time I decided they would make great book coveres. So that is how these books came to be.

Interesting finds on our walk yesterday.

When you can't find the perfect button, you make one. Yes believe it or not I could not find the perfect button in my stash! It just goes to show, that you can't have too many buttons! Am I right?!

I almost forgot to share this months theme over on Dragonfly Dreamers Exploration theme group. We are exploring cards this month. Do you like to make cards of any kind? I have been working on some kindness/affirmation cards and ATC's so far. These are some ATC's I made and am trading. 2 of them are already spoken for but I will be making more if you'd like to do some trading with me.

This is what an inch of art a day looks like. Now to see what July brings.

Here she is all finished. Other than a little black pen for the eyes she is done entirely with Derwent Graphitint. Not bad for a first attempt I think. I will definitely be playing with these some more.

It's so fun to try something new. I love the colours of these Graphitints. So far I've only used these on her. I haven't decided what to use to finish her. I think she would like some really fun coloured hair. What colour do you think she would like?

It's a mushroom house kind of day. I did my first live on-line mushroom house mini workshop this afternoon. Lots of fun and colourful mushrooms.

So this happened today. It's been three months since I've cleaned off my table and even longer since I've seen the whole table at once. I may just have to take advantage of this and redo the table top!
