For all Wake Robin Farm riders. We are please that the Ontario Government has given equestrian facilities the green light to start teaching again with strict ...protocols and restrictions on place. We are taking a phased approach to re-open starting with our more experienced riders who are able to bring in their horse and groom/tack up independently. This allows us to maintain min 2 meter social distancing guidelines. The next phase will include younger/beginner riders who require more hands on assistance in the barn and in lessons. As soon as we feel comfortable that we are able to accommodate this step we will let everyone know. In the mean time please stay well and follow us on Facebook for the latest news!

Wake Robin Farm contest announcement! Normally our Young Riders Club members meet on the first Friday of each month for some fun equine learning. Sadly, we h...aven't been able to get together like we normally would. I know our riders are missing the farm so, we've put together a little contest to test your memories. ALL Wake Robin riders are welcome to join in!! We've taken 12 close up photos of random objects around the farm. Participants need to identify what each object is and what it's used for. 3 winners will be picked from entries who are able guess all 12 objects correctly. Winners will receive a cool pair of SOCK IT TO ME CREW SOCKS!! If you'd like to participate just respond to this post with "I'm In!" You will receive an email with pics and further instructions! Answers and winners will be announced on Friday May 8th!!
Thank you to everyone that has Sponsored a beloved Schoolie here at Wake Robin Farm. Your donations have enabled us to purchase this load of hay!
Hello to all friends of Wake Robin Farm! First....I hope you are all staying well! As you may know, with COVID-19 restrictions in place, Ontario equestrian... facilities have been mandated to suspend all lesson and camp programs until further notice. At Wake Robin Farm, our lesson and camp programs generate approx. 80% of our annual income. This situation has left all equestrian facilities in DESPERATE need of help to continue feeding, caring and providing a safe home for thousands of horses. At the end of March we started a "Sponsor a Schoolie" program to raise funds to pay for monthly cost of hay for our beloved lesson horses. The response was incredible and heartwarming! The funds raised allowed us to not only buy hay but, to provide care for all of our lesson horses for the entire month. Care included: feed, hay, shavings, farrier and vet visits. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Unfortunately, the struggle is far from over. Each month the overhead to keep our farm going is approx. $12,000. We still need your help!!! Please continue to be part of our "Sponsor a Schoolie" program. We have not set any specific amounts for continued monthly sponsorship as we realize that everyone is facing financial uncertainty during these unprecedented times. Any support is greatly appreciated. As a thank you, each sponsor will receive a SURPRISE GIFT in the mail for each month that they contribute. We will be tapping onto our local artisans and shops as a way to, in turn, support other small businesses who are also struggling at this times. Donations can be made by etransfer to [email protected] Again, we want to thank everyone that has supported us so far. We are so grateful. We hope to see everyone again soon, in the mean time... Please stay well!!
