The Walkerton Firefighter’s Association would like to acknowledge the importance of shopping local during these tough times in the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thank you very much to Joy Source for Sports for providing our firefighters with new mask/gear bags, purchased by the association. These bags will be important to our firefighters on scene as they contain our SCBA masks, coveralls, extra gloves, socks and other emergency related PPE.... This purchase would not be possible without the support of our local business’ and the community members. Over the last several years we have raised money for fire and rescue equipment, tools, PPE and etc. This is another example of a purchase made by the association that will help our members be ready for the variety of calls we face day in and day out. #brockton #inittogether

The WFA would like to thank Chief Murphy for his years of service and leadership as he moves on to another chapter in life! Mike has been a progressive leader and has set up the Walkerton Fire Department serving the Municipality of Brockton for success as we move forward in to the future!
