I don’t have anything profound to say today as we await the election results. As a Canadian who is living in the US I feel a fraction of the stress and anxiety my American friends must be feeling - Although it is near impossible to not be glued to every bit of news as it comes out. I just want to say... take care of yourselves today and in the following days. I hope this country can unite once ALL votes are counted and do the work to heal. There is so much work to be done for BIPOC, LGBTQ, provide healthcare for all and so much more going forward after this election is over. The work has just begun. Stay safe. Take care of yourself.
