Hey everyone! Here are a few seated exercises that can be completed from a seated position at a table top. Today we look at bicep curls and push ups with a few special variations, and movements to work your scapular stabilizers and back musculature. This is great exercise to do in your chair, or in a long sitting position if you can get into it safely. We want HIGH INTENSITY which means 15-20 reps x 3 setsStrengthening these muscles are great to help stabilize your core through dynamic movements such as reaching for objects that are further away, so doing so with the proper mechanics is a MUST Remember to think about the muscle you are activating to increase the activation that much more. Long sitting core exercises that can be done from the comfort of your own bed to end or start the day out with some movement! Try to complete the following exercises in 2-3 sets with 15-20 repetitions in each set - let's keep the intensity up! Really focus on squeezing the muscles you're using to increase activation through both the contraction (concentric phase) and the lengthening (eccentric phase) of the movement.
