Hello everyone! Walk n’ Play is so happy to announce that we have a NEW WALKER who joined our team and we are now accepting more clients than ever! Hello! My name is Sylvie Courchesne, I moved to the island with my two babies (dogs) on September 1st from Quebec. I’ve always adored animals! Growing up, I had many different kinds of pets and always knew I wanted to work with animals. Along with dogs, I also have many years of experience with horses and am very passionate about... them! I am a certified dog trainer focused on using force free methods and using positive reinforcement of course! My main goal as a dog trainer is to help people understand their dogs better and develop a better relationship with them, based on respect and trust. While attending classes at 'École de Formation des Intervenants Canin du Québec' I had the chance to work with many different breeds and personalities of dogs, training both the dogs and their guardians through behavioral issues. In the past few years, I’ve done a lot of house sitting, often for weeks at a time, to look after dogs and cats (and fish!) as well as boarding animals at my house. I’m very excited to start on this new path of dog walking and can’t wait to meet your pups!
