Today was the school's Terry Fox Run fundraiser! Thank you to Ms. Feddes for taking out each cohort separately and run our route 4 times each, one for every decade that the #TerryFoxRun Marathon of Hope has been run. All of our students had the opportunity to run/walk and donate a "Toonie for Terry" and cancer research.

Today we have two exciting events our students are taking part in: orange shirt day and celebrating Terry Fox. Thank you to the A-team and Mz. Feddes for organizing these events. We raised awareness for our Aboriginal communities and cancer research. Great job everyone!

Introducing...our JK and SK class! They are having a great time learning and playing together in their cohort, inside and outside. It's been fun getting to know them!

Grade 3-4 went to our local park for some outdoor learning fun! They discovered different leaves and collected items for their nature colour wheels.

Grade 3-4 Science: going on a tree hunt on the school yard to discover our deciduous and coniferous school trees.

Our school wide theme is taken from Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. God has plans for our school and a plan for each... student. As Christian educators we are excited to come alongside your child and help them identify and navigate God’s plan for their life. The motto for our theme is Thy will, not my will . We recognize that it can be difficult for anyone, especially a child, to seek God’s will and abide in it. Sin, unfaithfulness and lack of clarity can hinder our ability to understand God’s plan for our life. What a great first day of school we had yesterday, despite the rain! It was wonderful to be able to see and interact with our students again in person. We kept precautions in place in the classrooms, and the students could still play together outside on the playground. Thank you for all the prayers surrounding Wallaceburg Christian School, as we begin this year

School is only a few short days away!! We're excited to begin this school year together again in our classrooms. Please pray with us for God's guidance and blessings on this year. Our theme: Thy Will, Not My Will

Don't forget to sign up for our annual Golf Tournament! It will be a fun day in support of Wallaceburg Christian School. It takes place on Saturday, September 12 at the Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club, with a 1pm shotgun start. Cost is $95 and includes a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, dinner, prizes and awards. You can also just attend the dinner for $35. Please contact the school as soon as possible to reserve your spot!

Our staff is busy planning for students to return to school on Tuesday, September 8. We're excited to see what God has planned for us this year!
