The City is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Windrow Snow Removal Program. A snow windrow is the portion of snow that is left at the bottom of a dri...veway after a plow has cleared the road. If you're over the age of 65, or if you have a disability or medical condition that prevents you from clearing a snow windrow on your own, the City of Brantford can help. Learn more and apply before December 1, 2020, at brantford.ca/Windrow. See more

I am delighted and proud to share that the Mohawk Park fully accessible playground renovation is now complete and open to the public starting today. As one of t...he City’s oldest and most beloved parks, it is even more special now because of the unique design features that make it more inclusive and barrier free for children of all abilities to experience and enjoy. While we recognize that many people will be eager to visit the new playground, I want to stress how important it is to adhere to the COVID-19 rules that need to remain in place to keep visitors safe, including limits of 25 children maximum at a time, for 30 minutes at a time. Please follow the rules outlined on signage at the park and respect City staff who will be monitoring usage of the playground. My sincere thanks to the Brantford Parks & Recreation team for their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work, resulting in a vibrant new space that will be enjoyed for years to come. See more
