I hate to have to make this post but the WHMBR for 2020 will be cancelled. There has been outbreaks of COVID-19 in Grimshaw and out at Lac Cardinal (rodeo grounds). I am truly heartbroken and sorry for the inconvenience. My sponsors, I’ll reach out to you! All the sponsorship money that I have received this year will go towards next year and then you will not have to sponsor for next year! I don’t want a fine nor do I want anyone catching COVID-19! ... Hope to see everyone next year thank you truly for understanding. Next year I will be applying to be CBHI, WF and TIP! Have a great year and stay safe !!

Hello Everyone!! As of right now the WHMBR is still a go! Stay tuned for more information that will be shared mid-June about this event. If I am able to run this event, there will be NO prizes just payout. Payout will be mailed by cheque! ... The race would be changed to a 3D format as well. A message from Western Fortunes We would like to update you on a change to future Western Fortunes Incentive payouts. Moving forward, Western Fortunes will combine the results of the Open and Youth groups in the incentive payouts, provided that both groups are run on the same barrel makers at all divisional races. If a Western Fortunes enrolled offspring is ridden by more than one competitor or entered twice, the offspring will be paid on the fastest time only.... This was how the payout was structured in 2018 and 2019 but WF decided to eliminate the Youth group at the beginning of 2020. Have a great evening,
