This week in our park series, we're introducing you to Tombstone Territorial Park in central Yukon. The jagged black granite peaks of the mountains in this park have earned it the name "Canada's Patagonia". We have to admit, it does quite resemble the place that inspired our Patagonia towel! Like most of Patagonia, this park is pretty remote, with the nearest food, gas, and lodging being 110km away. There are few established trails and the weather can change at a drop of a... hat. If this sounds like your kind of adventure, consider a trip in late August. Fall arrives early this close to the Arctic and colours are at their peak. I don't know about you, but we're planning our Yukon trip ASAP and this park will definitely be on the itinerary! Would you be up for an adventure like this?
