We've been getting some questions lately about the care + keeping of your awesome new candle, and especially the wooden wick! We have a lot of FAQs answered on our website BUT we thought there were a few quick and easy tips to live by (and get the most out of your Wanderlights candle): * Your very first burn will be low + slow (don't be alarmed!) - almost like a hot ember instead of a true flame * It is also important to try to get the melted wax all the way to the edges on... your first burn, soy wax has a memory (cool huh?) and this will ensure even burning each time! * Keep your wick trimmed to mean 1/4 inch for easy lighting, and more importantly, get a nice, crackling flame that keeps you aesthetically pleased
