Here are a few horses still here, that I have not taken the 'good' pictures of yet. I am grateful and fortunate to have met them all.

Rebel goes home soon. He has been a pleasure to work with. He was here to get used to the bit (previously ridden in a Hackamore only) and to be assessed as a family horse. He passed the test :) A friendly and gentle and willing QH gelding.

The haying started yesterday. It looks like a good crop this year and we have good heat this week to dry it well enough :)

Thor also earned his own way home last weekend. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours :) He got steady on the trail. This also means FYI THERE IS AN OPEN SPACE FOR A HORSE TO COME IN FOR TRAINING THIS WEEKEND. msg me if you are interested.

Last weekend Blade returned home with his custodian Ella Hamilton. He is a clamer braver smarter horse on the trail and in the arena. He took to the barrel pattern quite well, however we shifted focus more towards all around skills. He is one of the smoothest horses to ride. Go well Blade.

FYI Grant McKinnon will be at the Wareabouts barn to do his dentistry work on the 10th and 11th June. If anyone is in need of his services please feel free to contact me. There are a few spots still available asap

Bundy went home yesterday. He enjoyed the obstacles and got handy out on the trails.

FYI Sadly I have to say the Spring Cowboy/Trail Challenge here at Wareabouts has had to be cancelled for this year - in keeping with the Horse competition protocols put in place as a result of the Covid-19 virus. Hopefully this year the weather will hold out for the Fall Challenge and the virus will be in check :)
