Giveaway coming soon 2020 was a crazy year for everyone and here is a little reflection on our goals (last photo) from last year and what we are looking forward to in 2021... Goal: 30 weddings We had 20 weddings booked in February before lockdown. Despite cancellations and most of our 2020 weddings moving dates to 2021, we still ended up doing 20 weddings this year Goal:Reach 5000 followers 3000, 4000, 5000 all in 2020 reaching 5000 at 8:44am on December 29th. Thank you Goal: Collaborations Other then a few giveaways we didn’t really get there. Still have a saffron cake to do with saffron from @fireandgoldfarms but then March happened Goal: Website We had time but didn’t use it as well as we could have. Netflix was a thing March - June. But now we have started a new website on WordPress so it’s a lot better. Stay tuned in 2021 for this one Goal: Donuts Could have tackled this one during Lockdown... but didn’t. Since we haven’t been doing many full dessert tables due to restrictions this has been put on hold Goal: Wedding Shows/Markets Nope Goal: 200 custom orders in a month I think the most we did was 148 orders in a month. Some big, some small but averaging over 4 a day. Given the world state in 2020, we are super happy to have achieved what we did 2021 Welcome! The wedding cake from yesterday Perhaps one of my most elaborate works of art to date An entire week of work went into the sugar flowers; making each petal by hand, drying, dusting and assembly... The two offset ranunculuses are centre pieces, surrounded by garden roses & open wild roses which climb the front of the cake.
