Catching the light in its wings this Great Grey owl hunts rodents as the sun rises.

Sometimes it’s worth staying out after the sun has long since gone down. Panning with the bird at a 15th of a second at 5.6 with an iso of 12800 with a 500mm lens worked this time. Great Grey Owl.
