Happy Family Day weekend from the Water Babies family to yours. We know many families have had more opportunity to be together this past year than any other, and this weekend is another chance to carve out even more special quality time. Shoutout to Lewis and his family, he was one of the first to graduate from the full Water Babies program in Canada!

It is incredible to watch the children develop into confident swimmers and to build up these relationships with them and their carers.... I love the fact that my swimmers think I wear my teacher outfit even when I’m not teaching. To read the full story, click here: waterbabies.ca/our-teachers/ragna-hoffmann... #loveyourteacher

Next stop, poolside! The changes continue poolside as we have made lots of changes to our program to keep everyone safe: After you have checked in, its time to head over to the pool for your lesson!... We have reviewed our pools for space and ventilation, and when necessary have reduced class sizes Our friendly teachers are now teaching from poolside to maintain social distancing We have developed all kinds of fun new activities to replace ones that make social distancing difficult, re-thinking everything we do along the way to make sure that classes remain both fun and safe

Meet and Greet (and screening) The first stop on your weekly Water Babies journey is our meet and greet table Right from the start, we wear masks whenever we are on site (except when we are in the pool)... Every swimmer and staff member is screened when they arrive at the pool (with lots of hand sanitizer available) We track all our contacts and we don’t allow guests or mixing of swimmers from different lesson groups Adults arrive to the pool with their swimsuits on under their clothes, and children are changed at poolside Each family is afforded their own 6-foot area in which to change their children, and then its time to get into the pool We have made all of these choices so your arrival involves as few contacts as possible All touch points (door handles, benches, taps) in the building are also sanitized every 30 minutes

COVID-19 Safety @ Water Babies Its been over 5 months since we developed our COVID-19 health and safety policies and got back in the pool ~ We are proud to say that our policies have been incredibly effective, and in that time we have had 0 cases of COVID-19 spreading in our classes throughout Canada... We want all families to have access to safe and fun activities in these times, and so over the next few days we will be giving a quick tour of your safety journey as a Water Babies swimmer, so you can have confidence when coming to classes Stay tuned as we take you to three Water Babies venues in the GTA. If you have any questions about our measures, please comment or DM us, we would love to share more info
