Wishing everyone across our province a happy and healthy Thanksgiving Day Weekend!
Just wanted to say how happy I was to go on CTV Your Morning to bring awareness nationally to the issues around the sale of the Refinery in our District of Plac...entia West Bellevue. I will continue to advocate on behalf of all affected in our District and the province. #staysafe #Refinery #jobs #oilandgas See more
Thank you Prime Minister Brian Mulroney for your support, but most of all, for fostering the development of an industry that has provided well-paying jobs to th...e people of Newfoundland and Labrador. We know how to get back there, because we witnessed it through the hard work of people like you and my father. As you so eloquently put it, failure is not an option.
Thank you Erin O'Toole for standing up in Ottawa and fighting for the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Erin O’Toole is paying attention to the problems facing our province. Getting NL back on track will be a priority for the next CPC government. A united and strong Canada includes a self-reliant and prosperous Newfoundland & Labrador. https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5751203
The Brian Mulroney Perspective fundraiser held on October 1st was a real achievement for the PC Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. Thank you Mr. Mulroney for giving us your time, and providing insight for the future of our province and country. "Failure is not an option."
My heart goes out to the workers and families affected by the closing of the Come By Chance Oil Refinery, with the loss of at least 500 direct jobs. The people of our province deserve meaningful employment, and we cannot settle for anything less.
From Ches Crosbie I would like to thank all those in attendance last night, and especially the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney a father of the NL offshore industry, that provided Newfoundland and Labrador a real hand up, not a handout. Today, the growth and prosperity that is necessary for our very own survival, has fallen by the wayside of our provincial and federal Liberal governments.... We need to get back to real negotiation, and leadership for an industry that provides 20,000 jobs and contributes to nearly 30% of our GDP. Our people now, and into the future, deserve the same hand up; that will maximize the social and economic benefits to the province for years to come. Many of us have seen it. We’ve lived it. Our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deserve it too. We know what we’re fighting for, and we know how to get it. Failure is not an option.
Our PC team will be back in the House of Assembly this week! We continue to stand with our offshore industry workers, and all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, as we fight for jobs, jobs, jobs.
A warm welcome, with great support on the ground for Mike Goosney: PC Candidate for Humber-Gros Morne!
Today we honour the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. This year, people across Canada will participate in the Marathon of Hope differently than ...in years past, with the theme One Day. Your Way. As Terry famously put it, ‘I just wish people would realize that anything's possible if you try’. He is one of the greatest Canadian’s to have ever graced our country and an inspiration to millions, spanning generations and geography. Thank you, Terry.
On the road this weekend in Humber-Gros Morne with Mike Goosney: PC Candidate for Humber-Gros Morne! People are excited and ready for change in Humber-Gros Morne!
