Last night police responded to Beverly Street in Cambridge for reports of a robbery at a convenience store. Due to a quick and coordinated response, police located the suspect, recovered the cash, and seized an imitation firearm. More:https://bit.ly/3qe9g4w

Investigating reports of people receiving emails and phone calls from what they believe is the Waterloo Regional Police Service. #StopPauseThink before sending any information or money. Fraudsters will attempt to disguise or spoof numbers and emails to make a financial gain.

WARNING: Police and @ROWParamedics have responded to 6 fatal overdoses since February 1, 2021. 3 out of the 6 fatals were within the last 16 hours. If you suspect that someone is overdosing, call 911, administer Naloxone, and stay with the person until help arrives.

On scene in area of 475 King Street North in Waterloo for a fire investigation. No injuries have been reported but individuals have been evacuated from the Waterloo Inn. More information will be released when available.

UPDATE: As a result of the investigation, we are no longer looking for the missing male in the area of the Nith River in New Hamburg. The death is not considered suspicious. No further details will be released.

On September 20, 2018, Isaiah Macnab, 20, was fatally shot near Pandora Avenue and King Street in Kitchener. A Kitchener male is facing several charges after uttering death threats and assaulting two of our officers. Male has been charged with uttering threats, assault police and assault with intent to resist arrest. Details here: https://bit.ly/31cSybb.
