We lovingly, gently, and painstakingly installed the Bridge Project today. Every red tie representing and honouring the life of an MMIW2S person. We are deeply grateful for the vision of Sorouja Moll and the support of our Firekeeper Al MacDonald. The installation will remain for two weeks during which time we invite folks to visit and reflect on the actions we can all take to end violence against Indigenous people. Miigwetch to all who participated today!

We've extended our deadline! Applications can be submitted by Sunday, September 13, 2020. Know any Indigenous Youth in the Waterloo Region who may be facing cha...llenges accessing the technology they need for education or employment? Please share this opportunity with your circles. Not only is the IYRP programming been limited to online platforms as a result of Covid-19, but we have also seen changes to many other areas impacting youth such as education and employment, particularly education with taking a heavy online presence this year. In response, we are offering an opportunity for Indigenous youth who struggle with adequate access to the technology required for employment and education. We'll be granting a limited number of Chromebook Laptops (estimated 300$ value) to applicants who demonstrate their significant challenges accessing technology for employment and education. See poster for more details. Email [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook for more information, or to request an application. Print versions available upon request.
