Tune in now on Sportsnet for Anything for Joey. A tribute to Joey Moss.
The words are in Portuguese but the message is strong in any language. People with Down syndrome are not off-beat, ugly, weak, objects, or dependent. They are strong, beautiful, independent, free, and courageous. #washawaythestereotypes #seetheability #capable
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2021! Happy New Year!

It’s a must see on January 3rd! See below for more info. #ChrisNikic #limitless #capable #ironman #anythingispossible #seetheability
We're all trying to survive covid-19 but people with Down syndrome and others with disabilities are disproportionately impacted by pandemic. Read more below from Jennifer Crowson, chair of the Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton, and CBC News.
We’ve posted about Maryanne and Tommy before. They’re a couple from the UK who’ve been together for 30 years! Incredible from anyone’s standards but even more beautiful because they both have Down syndrome. Tommy took a bad fall a few weeks ago and has since contracted covid-19 while in the hospital. He isn’t doing well and doctors do not think he’ll make it. Please keep Tommy and Maryanne in all of your good thoughts.
We might be in lockdown but WWDSS member programs are still running - virtually. Just take a look at Michael who is so proud of the dish he made in our age 14+ cooking class!
Listen to little Emmi's giggles. We dare you to keep a straight face! <3
