This will be a pleasant opportunity to meet and respond to several, local wild medicinal herbs and trees. If you are curious of what the Island flora is offering us, this walk and gathering will be very beneficial for you.

Display from earlier this year @fgfollyfest . Wildcrafting shamanic, medicinal items and working with beeswax has been greatly fulfilling in my life so far. I am excited to see what comes out next as I feel my items & display are about to undergo a giant shift. Hopefully by the next time I post a market display picture my WHOLE business will be 100% alternatively waste-free. I currently make my best efforts to achieve this, however the work can reach deeper into the subject ...matter. . Sharing love with the planet is rewarding. Sharing love with each other, our ancestors & ourselves is rewarding. Fusing traditional practises with todays potencies will make us stronger. We are all able to fall deeply into love with the Earth & her families- as we do, one by one our guidance from within will help us hear her voice, and show us what we are made of. @agemeye

~~ This little bee is the greatest. What a powerful reflection of existence, and a constant reminder that we all play a massive role in maintaining the balance of existence. This little one looks happy to be on a blueberry flower, look at the details of these intelligent plants. Species of Cyanococcus are legendary medicinal plants + super foods. Every bit of this herb is a medicine, even the colour of the berries. Blueberry holds a remarkable, spiritual depth within it. This is one of my favourite flowers as well.

~~ The strongest, cleanest Red Raspberry leaves that I know. What a beautiful, medicinal herb she is, and such a fulfilling gathering. Multicoloured, earthy ocean stones for beeswax candles + white, Full Moon, salt water tumbled quartz to go into my extractions. Can you see how abundant this gathering is, so much so that it can be overwhelming. Rock Barra has at least 10 acres of wild Rose, Raspberry & Bayberry plants, however, only loving, sustainable trimming techniques are practiced. Its important to gather only which will be appropriately used, and too much is simply too much. This young raspberry leaf harvest was split 50/50 with my friend @isle.rose . Natures love & balance.

~~ Honourably gathered from the diversified soil of the woods- spring Dandelion roots & greens. I tend to be very careful about where I set everything. Here I am using a clean scarf to lay the medicines on, which can be temporarily rolled and carried away. Treatment of the plants is important, Im always careful to keep them away from plastics or stagnant surfaces. Its helpful to have wooden baskets, clean, brown cardboard boxes, and smudged blankets/ scarfs with you ...to transport & honour all of your gatherings. Please have strong efforts to make use of ALL of which you gather from the wild. Remember to take the time to first connect with the medicines + practise only sustainable wildcrafting. Bring offerings of natural tobacco, blue corn or crystals to give back to the Earth. Sing songs of love + give thanks- Communicate openly with the land, find what works best for you during these intimate moments of being. Msit No'Kmaq: All My Relations. Love & Gratitude

The Etsy Spring market starts tomorrow at the Delta. Preparing for this fair was truly the greatest and most fulfilling work of art that I have ever created. I am so, so pleased with the results. I will have a full wild, holistic shop with me. Wait and see for yourselves!! :) ~~
