Now we are pleased to announce the newest addition Water Street Market and Bakerys family......MAGGYS DINER located within the same building as everything else Maggys Diner offers a full menu for the whole family. You can choose to eat in our dining room, on our spacious out side patio or enjoy takeout in your own home. Please share our exciting news for everyone to see.

There is only 14 Friday and Saturdays left before Christmas. Dont wait until the last minute to book a spot for your office Christmas party. We have a few bookings already dont miss out. ... Also if you are having an office petty or social gathering we cater everything from sweets, sandwiches, fruit/veggie, meet/cheese and everything else right up to a full Christmas turkey dinner. 5-100 people.

Due to an injury we will not have fresh bread and rolls today. We wish Sonja a quick and speedy recovery.

Dont forget to reserve your Christmas tree or other Christmas ceramic soon as there is a limited supply. Come in, pick the piece you want, paint it in our dining room or our spacious deck. Due to an oven failure.........we will have a limited supply of bread and rolls today and tomorrow. We would like to apologize in advance, however we are at the mercy of the delivery system for parts.

Today from 1-4 we are having a celebration of life for Nadine Hughes (Deannie) We will be having it outside under the tent and on our patio to keep social distancing. Invites are not required. Show up with a story and remember the good times. ... Father Peter will be onsite to start the celebration off at 1pm. We ask that everyone bring a non perishable food item or donation as we will be making a donation to the food bank in Deanies memory.

Natal Day in Pictou Monday Aug 3rd there will be a sale downtown pictou. The old bowling ally parking lot and the former CNR parking lot will be full of vendors... selling everything from hand made items, home based businesses, crafts, vintage items, antiques as well as yard sale items. Stores down town will be holding sidewalk sales. To book a spot (by donation) contact Poppy on messenger .

We just called into Water Street Market and Bakery in Pictou to refresh our display with some nice new soaps. Its a great place to visit to see all of the beaut...iful and locally made handcrafted products. So why not pop in and enjoy a lovely cake and a cup of tea and perhaps take away one of our handmade goat milk soap cupcakes or cake slices to enjoy at home or at the cottage. If there is a particular soap in our Collection that you are looking for, or a particular boxed selection for a present, and you cant find it just let us know and we will make it available at the Bakery or we can deliver it to you. Florence Nadine (Deannie) Hughes There will be a celebration of life for Deannie on July 26th from 1-4 pm at the Water street market and bakery. We will have a tent set up and the patio will be usable to help accommodate for social distancing. ... If anyone has a story they would like to tell aloud please let us know when you arrive so we can put you on the list. Have a great story but dont like to speak in crowds....print it on a piece of paper and we would be glad to read it out for you. The market and bakery will be open during this time however the kitchen will be closed. We are asking everybody to bring a non perishable food or cash donation for the food bank with them as we will be making a donation in Deannies memory. Members of Deannies family will be on site and would love to see everyone and hear their touching stories (from a distance of course)
