For the Software team, we have invested heavily in a full software-in-the-loop testing system for our entire autonomous stack using CARLA and Mathworks tools. Recruitment for Fall Term: Hey guys, sorry for the delay. Recruitment for fall term will be VERY different for 2 reasons: 1) Quarantine and limited access to the student design team garage. ... 2) Year 3 competition is in the first month of the term. Team leads won't have time to recruit and onboard new members if they are working hard on competition objectives. Our solution: We will open up recruitment for the divisions that are not heavily involved in the competition one by one. In addition, we will only recruit if there exists an opening role. If there is no work or work that cannot be done during quarantine for a role, then we won't recruit for that role. We will open up recruits for business, electrical, mechanical first. All software recruitment will probably happen after September because of their involvement in the competition objectives.
