Our Watts Projects, Red Deer location, is currently looking for a highly motivated, self-starter for the position of: Welding Shop Supervisor. The qualified candidate should be a highly motivated, team player with a strong safety background with leadership skills and expertise in structural projects. Strong communication skills, effective time management with the ability to multitask are essential for the successful candidate. Summary of Key Responsibilities (some required j...ob functions): Assists and oversees all aspects of in-yard structural fabrication Orders and maintains adequate supplies for related operations Completes and/or Schedules yard repairs and services as required Seeks quotations for 3rd party services as required Coordinates multiple trades and associated materials Oversees QA/QC requirements Ensures safe yard operations; adhering to all relevant Federal, Provincial and Company safety policies/procedures Conducts and completes: hazard identifications, routine daily, weekly and monthly yard safety checklists Ensures shop and Watts equipment are maintained to Watts Projects standards Qualifications and Requirements: CWB certification and Journeyman Welding experience or relevant years of welding experience Working knowledge of CWB structural projects Strong safety background Valid First Aid and H2S certifications Knowledge of bid process and measuring an asset Able to Supervise a team and/or work unsupervised Able to multitask and manage issues as they arise related to job scope Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Auto Cad and Google Drive an asset Please forward Resume,Tickets and References to [email protected]

Watts Projects is currently looking to fill a position in our Red Deer Facility for a Shop and Yard Person Duties will include all shop requirements, parts and material pricing, pick-up/drop-off, all other duties as required. This candidate will be an organized self-starter, that possess's a valid drivers license (no GDL accepted) with less than 6 demerits. Preference will be given to those applicants with oilfield, forklift/front end loader and/or shop/yard experience. Log ...Book experience is an asset but not required. Must have valid First Aid and H2S tickets and a current 5 yr. Commercial Drivers Abstract with less than 6 demerits. This position is local to Red Deer and full-time.
