We want to give a huge thank you and shoutout to Amos Maley at Oyster Dental for donating 3 large 3D printers to our shop! Amos found us through the Gofundme campaign that all of you have so generously supported, and decided to help with the cause by donating some of the equipment from his Dental practice. These printers will immediately go towards the prototyping that we're doing to fight the current pandemic and prevent future ones from happening. ... Thanks so much Amos! We really appreciate your support with this project. Please take a look at his website below for more information. http://www.oysterdental.com/ See more

$5,000 Raised to help Canadians beat Covid-19!! We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated to us. We know how hard it is to be close with someone who works in the healthcare industry, or even someone struggling with the corona virus. We want you to know that every single dollar raised has gone towards building these Face Shields for Canadian hospitals and is directly impacting the lives of healthcare workers. ... More and more institutions across Canada are now calling for support to build these masks and ship them out. We are trying our best to keep up with the demand and we will keep printing them for as long as we can! Special thank you to Derick Campbell for your massive $2,600 donation. We can't thank you enough for it. Another special thank you to CIBC for generously donating $1000 towards this campaign. Another Special thank you to Doris Frost and Dave Florizone for all of your hard work to help share this post and get it in front of more people! Without all of these shares on Facebook, this wouldn't have been possible. Please keep sharing! https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-saskatoon-health-workers-pr

We speak on behalf of all Canadians fighting Covid-19 when we say even the small donations are going a long way at our facility, and we could not be more grateful that you all stepped up to help us with this cause. We have more requests than initially expected and are now in contact with institutions all the way to Ontario. ... As long as we can keep making these masks & face shields, we will keep printing them and sending them to those in need! Please keep sharing! gf.me/u/xsqh2u

We recognize this is a scary time for everyone, and we are doing everything we can to support the doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers who are helping to treat those with the Covid-19 virus. Our facility is perfect for quickly producing medical equipment in times of need, so today we decided that we are going to donate as many of these 3D-printed face shields as possible to Hospitals, Carehomes, or anywhere they are needed, but we need your help! We are looking for donat...ions to help us cover some of the other costs of creating & sending these masks to wherever they are needed. Please get in contact with our shop owner Randy at 306-241-4919 if you would like to help out with this cause! Please like and share this post so others can see!

Airplane manufacturers like Boeing are using 3D printing to improve their business model. Are you? The airline company Boeing was one of the early adopters of 3D printing technology, and has made more than 20,000 3D printed parts for 10 different military and commercial planes. The 787 Dreamliner has 30 3D printed parts, including air ducts and hinges, which is a record for the industry. They also printed an entire cabin. ... The company also supports additive manufacturing programs at the University of Sheffield and University of Nottingham in the UK, where there is research for aerospace and other manufacturing sectors using 3D printing technology. Lots of businesses, even small local ones in Saskatchewan, don't realize the ways that 3D Printing can vastly improve their business model and put them ahead of their competition. If you're interested in how we can help your business, stop by our shop on circle drive in Saskatoon! See more

If you own a business that needs a specific "thing" to be made, consider getting it 3D printed by our in-house team. This is an automatic Seed Sampler that we designed and built for one of our corporate clients. They came in with a simple prototype of what they were looking for, but they wanted a professional looking product to show to potential buyers. They had a big show coming up the next day and were hoping to have it ready by then. ... We reverse engineered and redesigned the product from the ground up that day, and gave them their new professional looking working prototype the next day. This product is attached to the sampling port on a grain bin auger. It then collects grain samples from the auger as it fills the grain bin. removing the need for a person to perform the job. This results in higher safety (no way for a person to get harmed by the auger) as well as a higher reliability and consistency in the sample. If you’re interested in having something custom-made for your company, call Randy at 306-241-4919 or stop by the shop anytime. See more

Did you know that we created the world’s first 3D printed trailer? This is our first prototype, with hopes to mass produce them next year. This trailer is better than others in every way. It’s stronger, lighter, totally waterproof, it will be less expensive, and will last about 100 years. It can also be lifted off the chassis to be an ice-fishing model, and is the only trailer with a 100% vapor barrier. We had to custom-build a 3D printer that was big enough to build t...his thing, and it ended up being over 20 feet long, and one of the biggest 3D printers in the world (largest in North America) You can see it at our shop anytime on Circle Drive. #yxe #yxebusiness #3dprinted See more
