Later, we decided to put our apprentices’ new skills to the test by having them make purchases in our local community! Hi guys, Jacob here! Today, we chose a recipe and decided to cook some grilled cheese sandwiches! First, we went to buy groceries at @realcanadiansuperstore . We were then hard at work cutting tomatoes and shredded cheese, and spreading margarine on the bread! We also practiced hand washing, knife safety, cutting an apple, and cleaning dishes! These are great skills to learn, and we’re proud of our apprentices’ attempts at making some good food! #safetyfirst #cooking #goodfood #specialneeds #finemotorskills

A little throwback to Halloween: Hi guys, it’s Jacob! This year for Halloween, we celebrated with plenty of friends, even ones that weren’t at program thanks to Zoom! We dressed up as usual, painted pumpkins, and showed off our awesome costumes! In addition, we enjoyed treats galore, danced to the Monster Mash, and made some cool Halloween crafts!
