If you’ve ever wondered how the kid went pro, here’s how On Wayne’s 18th birthday, he signed a 21 YEAR contract to be an Oiler. He ended up playing his first full NHL season in 1979-80 for the Edmonton Oilers. Over the next two decades, he dominated the sport, setting a host of league records. He then retired in 1999 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame that same year. To celebrate this legacy, come check out all our original Gretzky memorabilia at the restaurant one last time!!
