Anyone brave enough to play in the snow this Thursday and wears any sort of costume clothing will get a bird on a hole of their choice (after the round) for the last day of league for 2020! Play your round anytime on Thursday, take a picture of you playing in costume and send me a screenshot of your card scores. Happy hucking!

In true north WBDGA fashion we’re going until the end of October for league. Get a few more rounds in ya before the season finale prizes get handed out. At least 3 rounds throughout the season to qualify and best 10 rounds go towards your placement. Send us your Thursday cards to get it on the board. Time of day doesn’t matter anymore as long as it’s your league round. We trust you guys

Rotary Links has had some insurance/board member issues with disc golfers being on the course in front of golfer cards, so for now we will be scheduled in with no golf cards behind us. We’re very excited to announce our new 9 basket disc golf course at the Rotary Links Golf Course is now open for business! Basically the rules of the new course are: 2020 WBDGA membership required Send your $15 membership fee to [email protected]... We will provide you a digital membership card to show the course staff upon paying for your tee time. You’ll typically want to call ahead (+1 (780) 743-9377) and specify you are a disc golfer or you can book a tee time as a WBDGA Member at https://rotarylinksgolf.com or on the ChronoGolf app. We typically get evening tee times on busy days, as golfers get priority because we are only charged $10 per round for the cart. It is a licensed facility so please purchase your drinks at the course and feel free to have a few on the patio. Due to Covid there is one person per cart and limited Proshop access (a drive thru style window is available so you can pay from outside). Please follow typical golf etiquette, golf attire (polo shirts recommended) as well as the current social distancing guidelines being enforced for golf play Carts have to be returned by 10:30 pm. We are getting a major discount from Rotary here, so please be respectful, give priority to golfers and maintain a professional attitude so that we can continue to make a good name for disc golf in our community.
