Our second-year fundraising for our National Charity, Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada, was a huge success, and we would like to thank each of you who donated and helped be a part of this incredible cause! With generous donations, Willowbrae Academy locations came together and raised a grand total of $15,645 in donations from both of our yearly fundraising events. We look forward to next year’s annual fundraisers (PJ WALK and Pancake/Muffin Breakfast). Thank you again and congratulations to all for being a part of this incredible organization!

During the week of November 16th Willowbrae Academy Corporate hosted another Corporate Training Week! Due to COVID-19 and the restrictions on travel, we held the sessions online and met virtually! We had our Directors and CEOs from our upcoming new locations in Alberta Willowbrae Academy Crestmont, Willowbrae Academy West Point, our Assistant Director in British Columbia Willowbrae Academy North Van, our Director in Ontario Willowbrae Academy Oakville and the entire team in Nova Scotia Willowbrae Academy Burnside! Our friend Hal Johnson with BodyBreak also joined us for a morning chat! Congratulations to all, and we are very excited for our newest locations to open in AB and BC! #childcare

Willowbrae Academy raised $13 800 for Ronald McDonald House charities. Eighteen Academies across Canada well done! The Victoria location raised $1158. Thank you to everyone who donated and a special shout out to Diane Wilton for her healthy and scrumptious baked goods for the RMH Fundraiser Cafe.

Willowbrae Academy has created a new position of National Health and Safety Manager in addition to establishing local Academy Health and Safety Managers within each Academy. These individuals are responsible for the effective implementation of preventative health measures to decrease risk, and ensure we respond effectively to any situation that may arise.

Good morning Victoria community!! Willowbrae Academy continues to be vigilant to minimize the impact of a second wave of COVID-19. Many provinces are mandating masks to be worn in most indoor public places. This is a key part of how we can protect each other and support the well- being of others. As of July 31st, 2020, every individual arriving at the Academy will continue to be actively screened PRIOR to entering the Academy, and in addition, all parents/guardians MUST wear... a mask during pick-up and drop-off times.
