BREAKING NEWS Town council just passed a mandatory mask bylaw for the Town of Whitecourt. Face coverings will be mandatory at all times while in an indoor, enc...losed or substantially enclosed public place. The bylaw is expected to be signed and therefore making it go into effect Tuesday. The bylaw outlines people who are exempt from wearing a mask, such as children under the age of five. Anyone caught breaking the new bylaw could face a fine in an amount not less than $100. Read the full bylaw below.
