The Ontario-Quebec Summit ended today, concluding with Premiers Doug Ford and François Legault agreeing to collaborate on plans to advance economic recovery through an increase in health care funding and job creation. Today, Canada's Minister of Finance Bill Morneau presnted his Economic and Fiscal Snapshot in the House of Commons. Due to a decline in tax revenue and the historic levels of spending on emergency programs in response to COVID-19, the federal government is forecasting a deficit of $343.2-billion.
