Greetings, all. All Shooting Ranges in NB must adhere strictly to the Provincial Regulations with respect to the COVID-19 virus. Attached to our email, sent last evening, is the Plan that WPRC will follow in an effort to mitigate the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.... As a Member, you are expected to read, and to understand, the provided material with respect to COVID-19. As a Member, it is also your responsibility to ensure that any Guest(s) are aware of these requirements. If in doubt as to what is expected of you, and your Guests, while on the range, a binder containing this information will be left in the trailer. {Sanitize your hands both before and after handling.} We expect everyone to do their part to slow the spread of COVID-19. To that end, we *MUST* adhere strictly to these rules in relation to SOCIAL DISTANCING & HYGIENE, or face certain shutdown. Accordingly, there will be a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY in effect. {"I didn't know." or "I wasn't aware." are wholly unacceptable excuses.} Additionally, we are told that there WILL BE surprise inspections by Dept of Public Safety personnel. Below is the most important aspect of this entire message: IF you are experiencing ANY symptoms: STAY AWAY!! PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE FACILITY WITHOUT ANSWERING THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: 1. Do you have any of following symptoms: fever/feverish, cough, sore throat, headache or runny nose? If you answered YES, and have only one symptom, then stay home and do not return until you are fully recovered. If you answered YES, and have two or more of the symptoms, then self-isolate at home, and call 811. ____________________________________________________________________________ 2. If you answer YES to any of the following below, then you must stay home and self-isolate for 14 days. If you develop symptoms, please refer to the self-assessment link on the Government of New Brunswick webpage. a. Have you had close contact within the last 14 days with a confirmed case of COVID-19? b. Have you had close contact within the last 14 days with a person being tested for COVID-19? c. You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are waiting to hear the results of a lab test for COVID-19. d. Have you returned from travel outside of New Brunswick within the last 14 days? e. You have been told by public health that you may have been exposed to COVID-19. This is an extremely serious matter. Failure by even one Member or Guest to adhere strictly to the requirements could very well result in our range being closed, indefinitely. Please, do NOT be that person. Stay safe, stay well.
