Meet the Leader: Maddy Have you met Maddy yet? She’s amazing and oh so smart! Did you know she speaks French and is trying to learn Hebrew? Tell Maddy how many languages you know!

: 1. : Often when people think of family prayer they think about praying around the dinner table or saying your evening prayers (and those things are great). Be encouraged to try starting out your day in prayer. The mornings can feel like such a chaotic blur, but taking a moment to stop to talk to God can help start your day off on the right foot! 2. : Our days are often not just busy, but ...really noisy... phones, tv, computers, each other ... all the noise can make it hard to find peace in the day. Try to find some time as a family just to be still and quiet together. Maybe you go for a peaceful walk without your phones, or perhaps sit together on the couch and read. Whatever you decide, take some time to be quiet and still in your day. 3. : It can be easy to forget how truly blessed we are as a church community, as families, and as individuals. Find a creative way as a family to express your gratitude. One example: start a grateful jar and each day encourage your family members to write down one thing they are thankful for. Open the jar at the end of the month and celebrate all the many blessings you share. See more

This months verse comes to us from Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times. They are there to help when trouble comes. How can we be friends who love at ALL times?

Hi families, Today's Sonrise Kids Church lesson is based out of Matthew 5:13-16 13 You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.... 14 You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
